The Judicial Conference of the United States sets the filing fees associated with filing a bankruptcy case.  Since June 1, 2014 the fees for filing a bankruptcy case are as follows:

  • Chapter 7:    $335 (increased from $306)
  • Chapter 11:   $1,717 (increased from $1,213)
  • Chapter 12:   $275 (increased from $246)
  • Chapter 13:   $310 (increased from $281)

The rules regarding requesting a waiver or deferral of those filing fees will still apply.

If you are considering filing for bankruptcy protection or you would like to file your bankruptcy case, please get in touch.
